Happy Birthday to Our Little Boy!

I just want to write a short little blog wishing our little boy up in Heaven "Happy Birthday". Little Brandon went to see his Lord at 39 days old in 2006. I didnt get a chance to meet this little boy but I'm very proud to love his daddy. His daddy loves and misses him so very much.

Its funny how someone so small that you've never met can touch your life so much. I love that little boy like he is my own. Its amazing how Gods love has no boundries. Death cant put a hold on love. I've seen pictures. I've heard stories. I've seen videos. Oh how I wish I could hear his little voice call for his daddy. Tomorrow would be Brandon's 3rd birthday and I just wanted him to know that I love him! I wish I could be his other mommy. Hold him and love him and his sisters could play with him, but I know he is in a much better place. Happier than we could ever be here. He will see his Daddy again. I'll get to meet him and so will his sisters one day. Until then, Happy Birthday Baby Boy!! We love you!!

Socialism Experiment

This is just a short story, very simple, showing how socialism works. Not affectively, I might add. This we should all be able to understand.

Experiment in Socialism

An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single student before but had, once, failed an entire class. The class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism."

All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A. After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. But, as the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided that since they could not make an A, they studied less. The second Test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for anyone else. All failed to their great surprise and the professor told them that socialism would ultimately fail because the harder people try to succeed the greater their reward but when a government takes all the reward away; no one will try or succeed.

Prayer Request

Hello all,

For some of you reading this, you may already know that for some time now I've been have really bad headaches on a daily basis. Upon seeing a regular doctor and now a neurologist, their medications have failed. On Monday, I was sent for an MRI at Decatur General. The results were in yesterday and for the most part they came back fine. They did, however, find a spot on the right side of the brain. I am still waiting on a call back from the neurologist to find out more details.I'm sure that the Lord has his hands on this situation, but if you dont mind, pray for me to continue to have faith and peace. Pray for my health, that I may continue to be a mother to my beautiful daughters. God is a wonderful God and he can and still does miracles. Thank you for the prayers and support!

Love,

Bonita
